What songs say, and why they're wrong!

The song says that love is all you need, and we all know thats total bullshit. Sometimes, love just isn't enough, and we all know it, or at least we should. The song says that Sex ain't really love, but I beg to differ, as I think that sex is  the ultimate show of love, especially if done well, and with the purpose of REALLY satisfying your partner. The songs say that Money can't buy you love, but I know that to be a lie! See the above statement, and then see a talented hooker, you'll make the connection too, I do believe, and all in exchange for a little money, as I'm well aware of...
My entire life has been spent listening to music, and trying to find real love, something lasting, something real, and something that doesn't come at the expense of your wallet, or your pride. You think you've found it, but like everything else, it slips away. There's nobody to blame but you, and yet the entire world is usually at fault, and I have no advice to help reconcile that, I'm afraid. If I knew how to fix that, I'd be a wiser man, but alas, I am not. I'm just a guy who can't seem to do the smart thing, and I almost seem to think thats my real destiny, yet I continue to fight it, and lose, for the most part.
Sometimes we backslide, and do things that we know are wrong. Sometimes we do things we believe to be right, but aren't. Sometimes you just do it, and then wonder eternally if you made the right or wrong choice. Thankfully, eternity in my world is extremely short-lived, so no blood, no foul.  My choices run the gamut from "Great idea Dave!", to "What the fuck were you thinking, dude?", and although my life is never boring, its also never stable, but you go with what you know, I suppose....Better the devil you know, than the devil you don't!
